Prepositions for a treat???  We are reviewing prepositions in week 20 - A sweet treat for anyone who can list all the prepositions in week 20 (do at home with parents & you'll get your sweet treat next week).

~~Writing~~
1.  Cut out & learn lesson 14 vocab.

We are reading our Faces of History reports next week.  I'm so excited to see your costumes and to learn about your famous person!  As I said in class, we'll have our grammar time first, then we'll change & read our reports and have a little party.  Bring in a snack/treat to share!  I'll be videoing so practice your report.

Continue to perfect those Faces of History papers!!!  By now you should have all your paragraphs drafted.  If you haven't, don't panic.  Spend time Wednesday finishing those.  The rest of the week should be spent on revision. Commit to reviewing & revising your paper each day!  If you have't already try to find a "hook"/dramatic opener to get your readers attention.  Look over those paragraphs to make sure you have a good topic sentence & a clincher sentence that "sums up" the paragraph (could also possibly transition into the next topic).  After you have a structurally sound paragraph, then go back and add stylistic techniques. REMEMBER - Adjectives & adverbs go a long way - you don't want too much of a good thing!
